This article was written in 2021 in present the experimental results that were explained in an article by Priakhin et al. and to analyze their results. They presented evidence that seedlings are damaged by the ball lightning-like microplasmoids. I am warning people to be careful about the health hazards of the flying microplasmoids and those that stay in materials. Micro plasmoids have states, the black state and the white state, and perhaps there are grey states. This is making detecting and controlling their behavior difficult. The state changing behavior between the black and white states is confusing experimental researchers and theorists.
This article was up on their website. However, the website and the magazine stopped operation in 2026. It was originally intended for publication in 2023. But the editor left it out of an earlier issue by mistake. It was published in 2024.
I want to warn people about their harmful characteristics. The article describes ideas about how to detect them and shield from them, and their state changing behavior is described. You can see how a microplasmoid made a tunnel in the picture above. Imagine what they can do to living things. I believe that the picture of the tunnel in the Daviau article actually shows the state changing behavior because a part of its path has no tunnel or disturbed material.
